I finally broke down to installing an electric fence.  I never liked the idea of installing one with the size of the area that I needed to cover seemed too large, plus I’d have to worry about my dogs running into it.  Probably the cost of it wasn’t appealing as well since I’ve already invested a ton into beekeeping.  But the stress and lack of sleeping from worrying about when the next bear would show up pushed me into looking at getting it installed.  My husband has a friend who beekeeps as well and he was happy to help us get it installed.  Without his help and knowledge, we probably would’ve never gotten it done.  He picked up the supplies and helped us get it installed within half a day.
