Mason Jar Storage

A while back, I saw someone suggest that using mason jars to store water is a clever idea. It really is smart! Whether they’re filled or empty, they occupy the same space, so why not utilize them for water storage? Currently, Colorado is experiencing a drought, and lawn watering has already been limited. It may not be long before we face strict limitations on our water supply. I do purchase bottled water, but I’m not particularly keen on it. Therefore, filling mason jars is an excellent alternative. I prefer the glass storage, and if the need arises for canning, I can always drink the water or share it with my dogs. I’ll gradually start filling my jars with filtered water.
