Preserving Lemon & Limes

I love adding lemon or lime to my water, but rarely did it until I came across the idea of freezing lemon and lime juice.  It was an easy task, but I’d rarely cut a lemon and squeeze the juice into my water.  Once I started juicing them and freezing them into ice cube trays.  I can’t remember who I saw did this, but I loved the idea and it has worked well for me.  Not only do I add them to my water daily, but I no longer have to throw away lemons and limes that go bad.  I have the Kitchen Aid Juicer attachment which makes it easy to juice into a bowl.  From there I add the juice to ice trays and freeze for a couple days.
