Homemade Body Wash

I was looking for a recipe to make a natural body soap when I found one online that caught my attention due to its simplicity. It only requires honey, oil, and castile soap. I’m a fan of castile soap because it’s effective at cleansing yet gentle on the skin. Since I reside in a dry climate, I’m particularly interested in a moisturizing soap, and the combination of oil and honey provides that extra hydration. I thought the honey might leave a sticky residue, but it’s really not that bad. It also thickens up the soap.
This is definitely a favorite of mine for a facial and partial body soap. I continue to make this one when I run out. So far I have not added any essential oils as I’ve used peppermint castile soap in one batch and lavender in another. I probably liked lavender better as the peppermint has a slight burning sensation in sensitive areas. You can find the full recipe and description on MommyPotamus.com.
