Healing Flower-Whipped Body Butter Recipe

I’ve been searching for a body butter recipe that isn’t too greasy. I tried this recipe to check it out. I liked the ingredients so I decided to give it a try. I infused the Calendula, Lavender, and elderflowers for around 5ish weeks in a 8 oz mason jar. After the 5 weeks I strained the herbs to use in the body butter.
I added the shea butter to the double boiler until it melted. Then added the infused oil and Lavender E.O.. Placed it in the fridge for about an hour to harden up, then whipped it until and put in 4 oz mason jars.
I do like this body butter and works well as a moisturizer, but its a bit too greasy for me. I will use up this body butter, but it’s doubtful I’ll make it again. I’m still looking for one that doesn’t leave a shiny oily coat on my skin.
